Just watched Love Story...and hmmmm...while the movie did not really inspired or touch me as much as the reviews acclaimed it, i must admit that i would personally feel it to be a sacrilege to negatively comment on this movie. I guess in its own way, it's beautiful, plus that was the 1970's; movies/tragedies like "A Walk to Remember" were not even born yet...so i guess it was pretty special at the time to have such a heartbreaking movie.
I must admit that the love between the two is amazing n pure. Plus the music really gets u into the romantic scene...got all teary when the boy tells his father that love means never having to say you're sorry...sigh
ah love...the big L... now THAT'S something i can blog about for hours and hours lol!

am feeling all mushy mushy and romantic right now...and some of the comments on that site are really wonderful. i mean, wow, love itself is such a wonderful and daring thing isn't it? I mean, wonderful cos of all the coziness, companionship, comfort it brings...and daring cos you're literally trusting someone with your whole body and soul. I mean, wat can be more daring that plunging into the unknown? Like, handing your heart over to somebody, without knowing but only hoping that the future holds beautiful surprises...
I guess thats why they say that love is all about sacrifices. The very first sacrifice of all seems to be trusting the person with your heart...like, the very act of allowing oneself to actually fall in love and face the risk of getting our life and heart broken is sacrifice enough...
Isn't love the most wonderful thing? sigh sigh sigh...
